Deixa Chover - "Let It Rain"

We are the Pacific Northwest school of Capoeira com Expressão. We practice a contemporana style of capoeira that is grounded in the African roots of the art and focused on personal growth and expression within the strength and support of an engaged community.

Our purpose is sharing the art and community of capoeira. Professor Aguaceiro provides primary instruction and leadership for our school under the supervision of Mestre Carcara. We are a community organization made possible by the collective efforts of our members. We believe that access to learning capoeira should be extended to anyone with a desire to learn. All of our classes are offered for a suggested conscious contribution of $5-$15+.

Capoeira in Eugene, Oregon

Capoeira is thriving in Eugene. There are three other schools with active classes accepting new students. Having multiple schools enriches the community by offering capoeira from other traditions with different instructional styles and philosophies. We support the other schools in their activities and events and collaborate to showcase capoeira or host community Rodas.

We encourage Capoeira-curious folks to check out each school to find the best fit for their capoeira journey.
